Foundation Repair Installation

Bowed basement walls can be resolved using the latest carbon-fiber technology developed by Fortress Stabilization Systems. Using carbon-fiber kevlar sheet straps in combination with specifically designed epoxies, bowed basement walls can now be stabilized and arrested with little to no obtrusiveness. The repaired bowed basement wall can then be painted creating an almost invisible repair and increasing the resale value of your home all without disturbing your landscaping.

The installation begins with the homeowner moving any obstructions away from the wall or walls to be repaired. Anything left in the basement is then covered with plastic. Standard Water's technicians then make sure the wall is properly prepared to receive the epoxy and carbon-fiber application by clearing away any paint, dirt or other coatings. The carbon-fiber grid straps are applied to the epoxy and pressed in to ensure the strap is flat to the wall. Epoxy is liberally applied to the top surface of the straps and spread evenly to ensure the straps are completely encapsulated per manufacturer's specs. Cracks are filled to prevent any more movement.

When it comes to repairing a crack, it is not sufficient to simply fill the crack. You must also restore the structural stability of the foundation wall. This generally requires reinforcement to prevent further movement and the Fortress System is the perfect solution.
