Description of Work: Replaced sump pump and backup battery for sump pump. Also
checked drainage outside to ensure the pipe wasn’t frozen.
Member Comments: Our sump pump was making a humming noise over a recent
somewhat rainy weekend. We moved into our home just over two years ago and the sump pump had always worked. However the home is nearly 20 years old and we have no history on if or when the pump had ever been replaced (ditto for the backup battery). They were able to schedule a technician for later in the day, then called back because another tech in the area happened to be running ahead of schedule… could he come by sooner? Sure! l asked for a rough estimate of services (if sump pump and battery had to be replaced) and in the and was charged what l had been quoted. Rob was polite, professional and explained what I needed to know. Work was completed within an hour. l contacted Standard Water because of the positive reviews here on Angie’s list – we are very pleased with their service and wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again.
