A while back we installed an egress window for John, a customer in New Hope who was beginning a basement remodeling project. John had us install his interior drain tile system back in 1991 and felt confident our crew would do a good job with the new window system as well.
For us this was a simple install and our crew eagerly tackled the job. They were careful to lay down plywood to keep from tearing up the customer’s yard as they moved wheelbarrows full of dirt and debris away from the house. As part of the job we installed drain tile in the window well and tied it into the existing waterproofing system … just to make sure things stayed nice and dry.
John gave the crew 5’s across the board for Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism and stated he liked that we tied the window well drain into his current waterproofing system. When asked to grade the crew that worked on his home; Good, Fair or Poor … John wrote in Excellent.
Later on he sent us pictures of his completed remodeling job. Nice. If you’re planning to remodel your basement and you’ve had any kind of water problem you may want to consider installing a waterproofing system first, to protect your investment. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call; we’d love to talk with you.
