Job Title: Construction Laborer
General description of job: The job you are applying for is a dusty job. It requires jack hammering out basement floors, digging in wet soil, and hauling buckets of dirt, gravel and concrete chunks out. It is very physical, hard work. If you have any problems with any of the following or have had surgery on these, this is not the job for you: back, neck, asthma or bronchitis.
Types of machines, tools and other equipment used in job: jackhammers, saws, drills, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.
Amount of each day spent: Standing: 40% | Walking: 40% | Sitting: 20%
While performing job, employee will be required to do the following activities in varying frequencies: Twisting, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, working above ground, exposure to dust, vibrations, noise, chemicals and other construction debris.
The heaviest weight lifted while either sitting or standing in one place weighs 100 lbs.
The heaviest weight carried while walking from place to place weighs 100 lbs.
The heaviest weight pushed/pulled weighs 300 lbs.
To perform any other duties during the course of their normal duties as necessary.
Hours will vary, You will be required to stay on job site until job is completed.

All new employees are required to receive a DOT physical and pass a drug screen. If the drug screen results come back positive, you will be subject to immediate discharge.
