GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! The Bill has passed the Senate and the House with only one nay vote. It went to the Governor and he signed it. So, now it is official; as of August 1, 2012 waterproofing contractors will not need a plumber’s license to install a sump pump and discharge system, as long as they have a contractor’s license. This will save the industry a lot of time and headaches not to mention the cost savings for homeowners.
